Greetings,
Namtog's Copy and Mail (NCM) is now a stand alone app. There is a GUI interface used to install your email info . It is password protected and encrypted. All information is written to files inside of NCM. While Blat is still the engine used to send the email nothing is written to the registry. This has two advantages. One NCM is portable, works well with USB drives. Two if you do have Blat installed NCM can easily use a different account. I was going to use a radio button interface, until I saw the look on my girlfriends face. So now it has regular buttons to click on. It's not like there is much to do. There are only six buttons on the NCM configure page. The send to email list is in a plain text file (addresses.txt)so you can edit it with NCM or your favorite text editor. The same is true for your email subject (subject.txt). It comes with a installer, if you choose to use it. Any of the shortcuts it makes can be safely deleted. No un installer is necessary, simply delete NCM and it's gone. http://ncm.namtog.com or http://www.geocities.com/namtog/ncm.html The source files are included. It has probably taken more time to read this post then it will to configure NCM and send your first email with it. The default password is, Namtog |

No offense, but I for one am hesitant to download and install a program from an unknown source. -- Regards from John Corliss My current killfile: aafuss, Chrissy Cruiser, Slowhand Hussein and others. Greetings John Corliss,
No offense taken. When NCM matures I will probably submit it to some of the software sites you mentioned. By posting it here a number of, I suspect, automated software sites pick it up and list it. This way I get feed back while I'm still working out the kinks. Thanks for your comments, Namtog |
