If you didn't specify that the threat be quarantined, the files are
deleted--just as though you had done that yourself at a command prompt. I've seen no success recovering such files with file recovery utilities, but those are what I would send you to try--the same recovery utilities that work if you've accidentally formatted a volume, or deleted files, are what you should try. These are not free, but most have a trial mode where they will show you what they can recover before you choose to pay for them. -- "J" <J@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B9272032-F01F-43C7-A0C6-1D1D27DA7EC9@microsoft.com... > Have you been able to contact anyone at Microsoft with regards to > this.........I have the same issue. > > "Anna" wrote: > >> does anyone know if there is ANY way to restore deleted >> files if there was no restore point created?
