Default Don't read postings

I guess that when I keep seeing new posts about old issues, I come to the
conclusion that people don't read
what is here. If people would read they would find that what is being
posted has been done to the absolute extreme. The time issue is an example.
People keep posting about it. I bet that there are more than 25 posts on
this issue. Give it a break. If everything is read prior to initiating a
new thread then there is no reason for a new thread on an old topic. Please
stop clogging the list.
Thank you.

One reason for repeat posts is that the interface available to the majority
of posters here, previous to today, did not support a search function.

Additionally, there was no easy way to distinguish between replies that
really answered the question, and those that missed the mark for one reason
or another.

The newer HTML interface available today may make a difference in this issue.
