Default RE: updates

To view the definition files that are currently installed
go to Help > About Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware... If
you want to make absolutely certain you have the latest
definintion files installed, click on the Diagnostics
button in the About screen and make certain that both the
numerator and denominator of Definitions Increment
Version are both the same. If they aren't, then you
might have to manually download the updated definition
files.

Default Re: updates

Alan has described well the definition update process.

At the moment, the program code itself is not being automatically
updated--If you go to Help, about, the current program version is 1.0.615.

I'm curious to know what you mean about "an update which has been disabled?"

I don't understand what you mean by that.
