I have tried to update Windows XP Home to XP prof. I get an error message
saying that it cannot copy videoprt.sy_ to $WINNT$.~BT if l skip this file the installations continues but after a reboot it comes up with the message VGA.SYS is corrupt and the install terminates. I have tried copying the Windows disk to the hard drive, but although the start screen appears l cannot get the install routine to run. I have tried the windows disk upgrade on an old computer and it works fine. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank You. |
