awesome game ! and scary as hell ... a bit hard and anoying when u have to keep getting your flash light out but that just adds to the scary effect

It is very scary, agreed, but seriously repetitive.

Darkness/torch thingie is a pain but if you search around there's a mod/hack/cheat where you can have your torch on all the time.

Boss levels are stupidly hard as well, especially in the expansion pack.

But, overall, I enjoyed it but won't be playing it again, once was enough.

I'm glad it wasn't just me who was scared then

I thought it was good, but I only got halfway through before getting distracted. HL2 was amazing IMO, and so much better

I was scared just editing the article! (same goes for Doom 3) Goodness knows what I'd be like if I actually managed to play it... I imagine it would be from behind my chair...
