I've tried WinDV, no luck. Last night I methodically went through the infamous MS patch and foun 2 instances of my firewire card in the registry because I tried movin it to another slot. I identified the correct InstanceID and delete the other. Ran the patch (again) and edited the SIDspeed (tried all values without any luck). Tonight I'm going to try forcing the card to use the Texas Instrumen driver instead of the VIA driver, this proved successful for a user o another board. I've been told repeatedly by others that JVC has issue with the VIA chipset and switching to another brand card using the T chipset will solve all my troubles. Of course everything I've trie has been guaranteed to work. Thanks for the in/out info. I figured that it was simpl bi-directional along the same pins and cables. Tune in tomorrow for another installment of my ongoing saga.
