XP clients do not save profile

windows 2000 Advanced server (sp4+) running terminal services, with all
service packs and updates; Office 2003 with all service packs & updates;

Win2k clients can connect fine and save profile details;
WinXP clients do not write changes to the users profile (printer
settings, office program settings etc).

Help! Desperate...

Local or roaming profiles?
Have you defined separate user profiles and TS-specific user profiles
for all users?
Anything in the EventLog on the TS?
