again SQL CE datetime

i know datetime format.

but why i must use it and not to configure SQLCE to accept SQL 2000 date
time format?

i read datetime column from SQL 2000 and it give to me dd/mm/yyyy

because i must give mm-dd-yyyy to my SQLCE ?

i want to read and write the same string without change it with
datetimeformat VB.

a solution?
