I use WinXP SP2. I have downloaded a home made video from a DVD disc. The files that are now in the computer directory are several VTS_XX_X.VOB, VTS_XX_X.IFO, VTS_XX_X.BUP, Video_TS.BUP,Video_TS.IFO, and Video_TS.VOB. This video file can be played on the computer in the Windows Media Player.
I would now like to extract some video together with its associated audio for inclusion in another slideshow I am creating. I tried the Windows Movie Maker but this does not recognize the above format. Windows require a format of *.MSWMM. Is there a way to either convert the video to this format? Or can someone suggest a way to extract clips? |

*.MSWMM if a project that has been saved, if you want to import video you have to go
file> import into collections, then select the video file first you need to convert the VOB files into a video http://www.dvdripguides.com/dvdrip1a.php follow this guide
