Hello just got a second hane HP CP1700 and already hate it. i turn it on
(All new carts and printheads) and i get load letter paper!! I live in britain!! we dont have letter paper! we have A4 i pressed cancel and then it wanted A4 (I had loaded A4) the printer kept chucking paper out then i get the load A4 Message! Windows cant print a test page as the printer says load A4 (Loaded) it does not jam (The paper goes though (But when it gets confused it sometimes jams) Please help ask my a question in response! |

It chucks paper though when it's the wrong size. As I recall, the manual, if you've read it, freely admits this. I see this all the time if I try printing A3 on A4 etc. > then i get >the load A4 Message! Now, blaming your tools aside, in Start-> Settings-> Printers-> HpCp1700-> Printer-> Properties-> DeviceSettings did you set whichever tray you are using to A4 ?
