HP Photosmart 1215 USB Connection issue

I run into a connection problem with my HP every once in awhile. Seems that
something changes in my system and the printer won't reinstall the software.
I follow the directions to the letter, tried the latest driver. I am
suspecting that maybe the bios setting it not correct for the USB ports?

has some information on dealing with USB related issues. Check to see if your
chipset has issues, a USB driver update may be needed.
