Folks
I have been experiencing great quality prints using the I950, canon inks and canon papers. I have made no changes I can recall but all of a sudden I have the printer spitting out perfect prints except for the colour range. It seems to have taken on a purple pinkish tinge. Very slight but enough to throw things. I have tried a reinstall of the drivers and the like but to no avail. I am using Canon Easy Photoprint but have tried through other printing programs. Still the same problem. I have deep cleaned etc but to no avail. When I use the default settings as I used to, in the printer settings ICM was turned off. Should I turn this on and would it make any difference. regards -- Don From Down Under |

Have you changed the print profile in anything else? That may be your trouble. Install a basic srgb profile to the print drivers itsself and see if that clears up. I know if I use the profile that Redriverpapers.com recommends for their papers, I get a magenta overcast. So I stick with the basic srgb profile for all my printing. |
