A7V8X + USB2 - Severe: This version don't support

Trying to load up the Win98 USB2 drivers off the CD, I get the above
cryptic message. So I downloaded 13 megs of latest drivers off the
net - exactly the same.

Any idea what it means or how to fix?

Control Panel / System / Device manager has a "!" against PCI
Universal serial bus, but I've had USB devices working.

Do you have Win98 or Win98 SE?
I believe you need at least Win98 SE in order to support USB 2.0

yep...win98 doesnt support usb2(wasnt sure about 1.1 either but i may be
wrong)...need at least 98se...
