Anyone Got a Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu looking at buying one recomendations
?

Just looking for a quiet cooler and all the reviews says it is, and
Zalman says it will fit on my mobo so all i need to do is order it.

Is cool to as it will put on a Amd 64 bit board as well as that will
prob be my next pc this cooler will go along with me as well.

So if you have one is it quiet, i saw a review at www.frostytech.com
and they say it is, top 5 infact.

If you have one let me know what you think of it thanks as i realy
need to quiet my pc down, heatpipe cooler already order for the
Vidcard, northbridge heatsink got but not installed.

Thanks.

I bought one of these a few months back due to the excessive noise that the
standard P4 fan was producing. It works well. I have mine running full speed
(which is only about 2500rpm) and it is still much quieter.
Max CPU temp has been measured at 49C which is under v.heavy load. The
noisiest part of my PC now is the PSU fan, but that doesn't bother me too
much. The ONE thing that annoyed me was the varying fan speeds when things
get hot. I find it much better to have a constant noise than fan speeds
going up and down like a tart's drawers.

I have two case fans and a noisy(ish) PSU fan too, so the Zalman isn't
noticeable.
I'm sure that when I first got this fan, any rpm under about 2000 wasn't
audible.
