Default Cold-Boot problems with Powercolor 9800 Pro graphic card

Hi!

I need a few more ideas because of a strange phenomena I have with a
Powercolor 9800 Pro graphic card: When I turn on the PC for the first
time a day, the card does not seem to initialize correctly resulting
in a totally messed up output with no readable content. When I power
down the PC and then turn it on again: the same. After disconnecting
the PC from the power supply, wait 10 seconds and try it again, then
it suddenly works. I even got the same strange behaviour during
installation of the card: Put it in and connected all cables back to
the PC - nothing; installed old card and then again the Powercolor
without every cable - works; then connected everything - works not
etc. But when I put the card in an older PC, it works at the first
try. But back to my PC, nothing again?!?!? But when the card is
running, there are no more problems - at least for that day.

Any hint would be appreciated! Thanks!
Stefan

Usually a sign of a weak power supply or even faulty RAM/Ram Slot.
