Hey all,
I have a 4G hard drive that, one morning, decided that it was empty. It was discovered by attempting to boot from it, and getting an "Invalid System Disk" error (and yes, I did check there was no flopp in the drive). Anyways, booted to a command prompt, and used 'chkdsk', and it told me that there was about 1.2G of data used (total - free). I ran Norton Disk Doctor on it, and it fixed the problem (kinda). Windows still says it has 1.2G used on the drive, however when selecting all the directories on the drive and going to properties, it only says 233 Mb. ( After my signature is an exerpt from the report that NDD generated). Is there a way to recover this 'lost' or 'unreferenced' data?
