LDC screen turns white

Hi all,

Any idea why my LCD screen slowly turns whiter and whiter? VGA output to
external monitor is normal???

Sounds like something's gone crazy inside the LCD. I doubt it's a
problem that you can fix yourself if the VGA output is normal. Best to
have the manufacturer or a certified local tech fix it.

Sound like the PLA controller as give up the ghost, if it's a Samsung
SM152S/T or SM172S/T try switching to analogue input if this works now
switch back to digital if all is OK you problem is the AD converter
which is in the PLA controller, on most older TFT you can just remove
the PLA as it is in a socket but later it is SMT and can not be
replaced at home.
