Ok I have:
asus a7v266-e xp 1700+(pallimo i think) ATI radion 8500 100gb total storage(2 drives 40+60) 712 mb generic 2100 ram 52X cdrom 4X backpack cd RW I have about $500cdn to spend to upgrade this rig. what would be my best options? I use it mostly for games and I'm starting to get into programing. TIA |

I use it mostly for games and I'm starting to get into >programing. I think the easiest way would be get a XP 1700 -2000 that you can OC easily for $50-70 and an ATI 9600 $140 or so. If you want to push it - sell the MB and processor and memory - $70 or more if you can get it and buy a Biostar $59 Nforce2 or so or some other board and a bit faster memory $50 or so for 2700 512 megs. |
