Default Question on McAfee running under Windows XP

I realize some programs like Spybot, Adaware, Norton Windoctor,
RegCleaner JV16 tool, etc.. need to be run under EACH XP account on a
PC.

Does McAfee Anti-virus have the same limitation and also needs to be
run in each account or does it have the ability to transcend all
accounts (while run from Admin account) and all files on drive C?

Thanks
Patty

No.

The software runs on the system, not on a per-user basis and all files do need to reside on
the PC.

That is what I thought and hoping for. Dumb question but a girl needs to know.
Thanks
