Bart CD

Is there a cheaper alternative to this cd, something that will scan NTFS
partitions, I have tried to download at least the trial and if it worked I
would buy the full version but it seems trade only, thanks.

Looks to me (my testing was interrupted by going on holiday) like the
dedicated removal tools scan all files, but the command line scanners do no
better than when run from within hd Windows (other than that it's better
that Windows isn't running from the hd). And quite possibly there's
something I'm not getting, but I don't see why there's no GUI that
automatically loads the hives for reg scanning.

At least now I remember what it was I had to continue with when I got back.
