My AVG scanner has placed the bridge.dll file in the vault. This file was found in Windowns\downloads . what does this file do? Why does the system need it or does it really need it? |

It's an adware "Browser Helper Object". See http://www.pestpatrol.com/pestinfo/...ites_bridge.asp I'd also suggest getting, installing, downloading the updates, and then running both Spybot Search & Destroy from http://security.kolla.de/index.php?...n&page=download and Lavasoft's Adaware from http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download/ Regards, Dave Hodgins -- Change nomail.afraid.org to rogers.com to reply by email.
