Default requesting help

AVG has found and located the virus dropper.swicer.A on my computer but
cannot remove it.

How can I remove this virus from my computer?

I also have Norton but it does not recognize this virus.

Thank you,
Keith

This is a trojan. Use Spybot trojan removal tool.

I ran spybot and it never removed the trojan. How can I manually remove it
safely?

Keith

I can find no reference to that file name and so I would think that it
IS the trojan. If you have winzip, then zip the file in the directory
that it is in now.
If you get no more problems, I would think that it is safe to then
delete the file.
( unless anyone knows better )??????

Did you get this sorted out yet? If not, try deleting the
file in safe mode.

See http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPOR...001060608000039
if you're not sure how to get into safe mode.
