Default Help to identify this virus

Even though I have Norton AntiVirus running, my mouse-pointed has been
behaving strangely - jumping around and opening up menu when I move it
quickly. Can anyone identify what virus is causing this and where can I get
help? Thanks for any suggestions.

I'd be more inclined to suggest cleaning or replacing the mouse first.

The same thing happened even after I replaced the PS2 mouse with a serial
mouse which required to be connected differently.
