I have been trying to find a way to boot a pc with the
ntfs file system and scan and clean with f-prot for dos from a floppy(s). Winternals ntfsdos prof. 4.0 (according to Winternals emails to my questions), will not work. They said the pc must be on a domain or have a hostname that is registered/licensed for the product else it will not work. No good, I want to be able to boot ANY ntfs pc and AV scan from floppy. McAfee Cleanboot is a beta and scans but will not clean. So how does one scan and disinfect a pc with ntfs? Thanks, Lee |
