Default Re: Update on slow boot problem

Folks,

Upon hearing of similar problems with both NAV & MVS with WindowsXP it has
been discovered that apparent problems have developed with the Windows
Update #811493. Those that are dealing with sluggish WindowsXP activity and
stalled Virus Scanners might want to check if this Windows Update was
installed. If so, do a search for Update #811493. You'll find that the
problem is not an isolated incident. I too uninstalled this update and
things improved dramatically. This is only an option...one that I found was
the culprit in my case.

Good Luck,

Timba
