Get a new e-mail address and then be VERY careful about who learns it.

-- Never post your e-mail in usenet.
-- Firmly insist that those who include you as a recipient in a mailing
list use bcc:, not to: or cc:
-- Use fake or freebie e-mail address when filling out online forms that
require you list your e-mail. Fake if you don't want a response, a free
account if you do. Then drop the free account when it starts getting
spammed.
-- If you do get some spam, never reply, even to 'take me off your list'.
