Default Re: LIveUpdate says I don't have permissions!

Well, thanks, it worked though it wasn't exactly as described. I had lots
of log.liveupdate files but I found it and deleted it. Then I ran
liveupdate for the SAV. Then I went to run liveupdate for Norton System
works and it had lots of repetition, so I edited them out of the
catalog.liveupdate file and reran it and downloaded the updates for that and
installed it. Then I went back and reran the liveupdate for SAV and it
worked. So seems to be fixed. Symantec needs to do better with the error
message; it should have told me that a file was corrupt instead of the
nonsense about permissions! I appreciate the straight dope. Too bad the
folks at the symantec site were no help to me.
