i find deleting it works well...

if you want to avoid having it sent to you, i would suggest not having
an email address at which to receive it... either that or change your
email address very frequently... unfortunately, any method you choose to
employ to make it harder for people to send you unwanted email will also
make it harder for people to send you wanted email...
