Default AGP - won't allow 8x


guys,

was running w cat 4.10 at 8x agp with no problems.
have just formatted c drive and re-installed windows xp.
now smartgart won't allow me to set agp to 8x

have upgraded to c at 5.4 and still the same

any ideas?

Did you install the drivers for the motherboard?

Yep, you forgot the motherboard chipset drivers.
