Sounds like you shorted-out the cooling fan for your processor.
Consequently, the processor fried since it was no longer being cooled by the fan. Find a reputable computer repair shop nearby and take it in for repairs. P.S. Why didn't you unplug your computer first? -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows XP - Shell/User Be Smart! That was silly. You have probably damaged the CPU and maybe
the motherboard. Take it to a store. >-----Original Message----- >I was blowing out the dust on my xp computer, while >holding the can of spray upsidedown,it sprayed out liqiud >hitting the fan thing on the circiutboard.it sizzled and >smoked for bout 30 seconds, now it wont even start up.what >do i need to replace to fix it will the fan cause this? >where can i buy a fan at? >. > |
