Onboard Firewire and ati a7nx8 deluxe

The asus a7nx8 motherboard has firewire so you will not need all in wonder
cards anymore. You won't need piunnacle cards. You can do it with firewire
altough I heard that external firewire cards are more reliable that onboard
firewire.

What do you think? Is onboard firewire within asus good Firewire or should I
buy external things? And what is the role of videocards in all of this when
you have firewire. non, I queess....as to capturing video is concerned.

AIW cards have TV and FM tuners and many people do not have DV Cams or
not all their tapes are on on DV... so yes there is a market for AIW &
Analog video VIVO.

Firewire is Firewire... If you don't want to use the onboard - get a
NON Deluxe model... for some odd reason.

Why waste a slot? I've worked with both all the time... whoever says
theres a problem with onboard Firewire is smoking crack.

Firewire does not display or render 3D Graphics.
