What drivers for my ATI Radeon 9800 pro/256?

Which drivers for my ati 9800 pro/256 meg is decent enough for what I do?

Should I install the disk thaT Came with the unit? It has hydrovision,

dx9, dvd player, and all the rest of the goodies. Should I install it or
d/l a newer drive? I don't think that I need all of the goodies it
includes, please advise thank you.

the latest drivers 3.8 give some ppl problems - in general the best recent
ones are the 3.7s. if thats whats on your disc then install the drivers and
control panel but nothing else. you can always add the other "clutter" later
and then you'll see what differance it makes to performance of your system.
i use powerdvd in preference to ati's player and the multimedia stuff seemed
like a waste of resources to me. a lean system with as little as possible in
the systray runs best and most stable.
