Default Directory protection software

I want to protect certain Directories on my PC from being opened in windows
explorer. so I think I'm after a kind of password protection tool.
I am running Windows 98SE
Could anyone out there point me in the direction of a freeware program that
will allow me to password protect certain directories while leaving access
to others open.
TIA
Dave.

LockFolder is nice and I assume it works in 98SE

http://www.realclicks.com/LockFolder/LockFolder.exe

Direct link only, I'm afraid, to the last uncrippled freeware build.

It then changed its name to FolderAccess the freeware build of which
is
limited to protecting 4 folders
