I'll bet that in your wildest imagination you newer thought that you
should use alt.test for a test post instead of posting here.

Have you ever posted to a particular NG and not have your posts show
up, even though you can see your posts to *other* NGs show up? What do
you do then? Post to alt.test? What would that tell you?

See the A.C.F alternative FAQ at http://stalkingsheep.co.uk/antifaq.htm
In an unmoderated NG you can control what you read and what you write.
That's all you can control.

Which end the problem is at.

The OP doesn't seem to grasp the simple concept that posting off-topic
posts in a news group with a specific topic (freeware) is not
acceptable, especially when an appropriate news group is available for
said post.

Anyone who explores a topic marked "test" and takes the time to
complain about its existence clearly does not have enough to do.

I occasionally find that posts do not show up. I check to see if it has
appeared on Google Groups and/or Netscan. If it has not I re-post with
"Re-post" added to the subject.
