CleverCleaner can save you work and time, and it recovers a lot of free
space on your hard disk. You sometimes don=3Ft know that little files and
huge temporary directories (downloads and so on) are filling up your
disk. CleverCleaner locates these files and deletes them. This way you
can gain a lot of free space very fast. The method: The program searches
the hard disk for the suffixes of files like *.tmp *, *~.* or *.chk and
deletes them. That=3Fs very useful if you download or copy much of data.
Sure, most of these files are little, but you know =3F many a mickle makes
a muckle! On a test machine, we got over 800 megabytes of free
diskspace. But the cleaning of the hard drive is only worth it once a
month. The CleverCleaner is easy to run, in the options you can add or
delete file suffixes. That is useful if you don=3Ft want to delete all the
*.bak-files =3F for example. And don=3Ft panic about important system-files:
They=3Fre listed in the exceptions below, and thus they=3Fre safe. You may
also add and delete custom entries there as well. A little help is built
in in the statusbar. Because of all its options CleverCleaner is a
flexible, free customizable and useful tool.
