[OT] 18'' LCD with fast response time

Are there any good 18" LCDs that have fast response time (16 ms) ?

The short answer is that as of 6/20/2003 the answer still seems to be no.
Only the 15" LCD (17" effective display) have 16ms response time. Just
recently 17" LCD's like the Hitachi CML174 are starting to approach 20ms.

The standard ms refresh benchmark is quickly becoming antiquated as
manufacturers are fasely pumping one color's response time and sacrificing
the others. So it forces us to adopt and understanding of black refresh
times, grey to grey refresh times, and color shift response times.

I am currently using the AG Neovo K-19 and it is one of the fastest of the
19" with a .25ms avg response. So like you I cannot wait to upgrade to
something crisper next year when they can get 18-20" LCD at 16ms average or
faster.

I've purchased the 17" NEC 1760NX. with a 16 ms response time. I haven't
heard about 18" with that response time yet.

Best I know of is the AOC LM-800 at 23ms

not a 18 but the vx900 by viewsonic is a excellent 19 inch monitor.i've had
mine for a couple of months and i've yet to run into any ghosting problems.
