Thanks in advance. Nobody? The reason I came here is because I found this forum by doing a search on Google for my problem. This was the first site on the list, and the only one that appeared to have exactly what I needed. It said in the description "R96025 runtime error ALL ATI POSTERS READ THIS!!!" Well when I came here those words were nowhere to be found....I'm guessing because the article is too old. That's why I was hoping somebody could help me out. Thx again. -- Direct access to this group with http://web2news.com http://web2news.com/?alt.comp.periphs.videocards.ati |

A post like yours is only likely to draw a response from people who've seen/know of that particular error message. And if no-one reading your post does... Why not give us some more background: i.e. system specs, what ATI drivers/ software you have installed (and whether you had any problems doing so) and a bit more about the error you're getting? patrickp |

Yeah I know I probably came across as being impatient and overbearing.
It's just that on a lot of forums I've been too, as soon as my thread was off the first page I never saw it again but if I bumped it a time or two I would get a response. Sorry.... Ok, system specs. AMD Athlon XP 1900+ ASUS A7V333 motherboard 512 MB DDR PC2100 RAM Hercules R9700 Pro Windows XP Professional This happens with both 3.4 and 3.5 drivers. I haven't tried any previous versions. I always uninstall the drivers I have before I install new ones, so it shouldn't be some kind of driver conflict. There is a lot out there on this error, but all of it has to do with MS Office applications and some printers. Like I said, this was the first site on the list having exactly what I needed in the description, and it was all together too - not separated by the "..." which, if you use Google a lot, means that the "..." can be the difference of the top and the bottom of the page. I dunno why it brought me here, but it did. The thread was close to another one about Catalyst 3.2 drivers, so I'm guessing it was just old. -- Direct access to this group with http://web2news.com http://web2news.com/?alt.comp.periphs.videocards.ati |

Well, I just ran the compatibility test that comes with MMC. It tells
me that I don't have DirectX installed properly. wtf? I play UT2003 and use a few benchmark programs, two of them which use DirectX 9, and they all work perfectly. In my dxdiag.exe it says "no problems found" on every tab. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling MMC with no luck. I dunno....guess it just isn't going to work. ![]() patrickp wrote: > "Rebel7254" <rebel7254.news.invalid@web2news.net> wrote in message > news:43917N591@web2news.com... >> Rebel7254 wrote: >>> When I try to play a dvd in ATI's dvd player I get a Microsoft C++ >>> runtime error: R6025 -pure function call.
