Weird. The file size listed on the download page is "16 MB" but my download
was only 6.5 MB.

You can see the Catalyst version by going to: Display Properties, Advanced,
Options.

I don't know of an easy way to tell if they installed over the old drivers.
When I go to display properties, advanced, adapter, driver info it tells me
I have Drivers version 6.14.10.6360 - why doesn't it have a 3.4 or 3.5 to
let me know what driver version I have?

info.

Thanks

ROFL!

Poor baby - you had to slow down your overclocking.

>Or did I miss something ?

Perhaps the drivers push the hardware a wee bit harder? Who knows...
Basically whenever I see an overclocker coming to grief (read: pushing
the hardware to borderline beyond spec) I snicker.

They're rock solid on my 2000+.

Sure it is.

>They're not up to the jobby - and I object.

They're very much on the job - they developed a product that runs at
spec. YOU decided to push it past spec. Once you did that, you're on
your own - in short, it's your ass Cochise.

You want faster? Here's a novel concept:

BUY faster.

The hardware is dirt cheap these days.

Don't B&C about a self-inflicted wound.

*THAT* I can respect - however I don't try and bend the rules in the
process. To each his own - just don't blame a company for your own
bending of the rules.
