ITs "nagware" , i.e when you run it you get a popup window but you can stop that with Spybot. -- Conor Do gooders are your most dangerous enemies. Never turn your back on the devious bastards. |

See the ReadMe for more info. http://home.earthlink.net/~bblanton...defrag/main.htm or http://www.blueorbsoft.com/scandefrag/index.html |

I think that was just a tag line, and had nothing to do with SpyBot. I think the authors of SpyBot are still altruistic, but this could change. Bob |

On Win2K I use DIRMS and Buzzsaw (Thanx to someone on this board for suggesting it!), but on my WIn9X system, I still use the one that comes with WinMS and augment it with SpeeDefrag (which allows you to reboot and defrag with minimal system fiels running). Diskeeper is far too bloated and it is nagged (I know this can EASILY be fixed by removing the html files). I will not use it. O&O defrag is also "OKAY" for Win2K. -- +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ El Gee Did you hear the one about the dyslexic, agnostic, insomniac? Best to go to www.mistergeek.com and reply from there. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ |
