OT Camcorder newsgroup

Hello
Can anyone recommend a camcorder newsgroup
I don't know what i should be looking for in a new camcorder that
doesn't cost the earth ie specs, digital versus analog, good
buys/brands, reviews etc

Thanks dszady, but i was actually looking for an online/offline
newsgroup similar to ACF

A little Googlin' turned up these:

rec.video = seems like the one you want
rec.video.desktop
rec.video.marketplace

There are more under rec.video.

Use the advanced search page at groups.google.com and put some suitable
keywords in the text field to find out where the people are active who talk
about such things.

I have over 3000 posts showing for rec.video, with 100(?) this week.
The rec.video.desktop is more active though. 32885 here
