Default win98 sees win2k but not winxp home; etc

My win98 machine can see the win2k pc but not the winxp pc.
The win2k pc see both 98 and xp
the xp pc sees the win2k, but not the 98

... static IP's , ping works fine, and passwords not an issue, as I'm just
trying to see them , not even log in yet ...

Ask Bill Gates.
That is a standard fault (i belive that is a fault). Go to your network
neighborhood icon on your desktop and click right. send go on find computer
or search for computer (don't know the labeling in engish versions). then
enter the name from the computer and you will find it. Then you can "mostly"
see it in the network neighborhoods.

All computers in the same workgroup ??

Regards, Marco
