Default Palit Microsystems 128MB GeForce 3 Ti 200 Review

HardwareMasters have a review of the Palit Microsystems nVidia 128MB GeForce 3 Ti 200. Priced at US$199, it seems to be a good buy. However, by reading the review it seems that there was not much of an increase in performance.

Since nVidia first released the GeForce chipset, the 3D chipset manufacturers began redefining computing as we know it. While most people know that adding memory to a system typically makes applications, games, and Operating System run more smoothly, what is the effect of doubling the memory on an already fast video card? Despite the fact that 3dfx cards used to be 4MB or that 16MB used to be impressive, today, home computers are coming with up to 128MB of memory. As a side note, cards with more memory do actually exist. Some of the GeForce 4s are actually coming with 128MB of memory standard. In this review, we will benchmark the GeForce 3 Ti 200 128MB video card from Palit Microsystems.
