Mustek A3 SP in OS X

I can't seem to import any scans in Photoshop from my A3 SP (large
format) Mustek Scanner in OS X; Classic also does not support it. It
seems I must reboot in 9 to make a scan, obviously a big nuisance. I
can find no updates on Mustek's site. Any generic scanning software or
other solutions anyone knows of? Thanks.
