Maybe a fingerprint? Try a good cleaning of the film with PEC-12 if you have any. Also did you try a reset of the scanner and try the scan again? -- CSM1 http://www.carlmcmillan.com -- |

Thank you for your respons, In fact this purple color was visible on several scans. The negatives are new and should not be be touched, of course if not in lab. I tried several scans with no avail. Then it may be a lab processing error. Maybe bad chemicals.
Take the film to the lab and complain. -- CSM1 http://www.carlmcmillan.com -- "Mojtaba" <mojt@stwart.net> wrote in message news:cr9mj0pqs75d7rdu6pd53pr3pittshcr2r@4ax.com... > On Sun, 05 Sep 2004 14:40:11 GMT, "CSM1" <nomoremail@nomail.com> > wrote: > > >>Maybe there is a film of something on the film that is filtering and >>producing the purple color.
