IT8 calibration scanner

Hi,

I've got some problems with making good profiles for my scanner. I
have got IT8 target slides from Wolf Faust.

1. Scanned at full resolution with NO colour adjustment (both in
Vuescan and with the Minolta software - I have a Minolta Scan Elite
II)

2. Used LCMS to generate IT8 data sheet from the scanned target

3. Used LCMS to generate scanner profile

However, after applying the profile to the scanned non-corrected IT8
target slide, I don't really get what I had presumed to get. The white
(down left on target) turns out with a slight red cast, as does the
fourth and second darkest of the dark gray/black patches. Pretty
strange as the IT8 slide looks perfect (of course).

Where am I messing up something..? Somebody with experience here?
