Default VueScan Calibration of Minolta Dual II

Hello all,

A friend suggested that I do a calibration on my Dual II.

I turned on VueScan and let the scanner setup. Once set up, I selected
"calibrate" from the Scanner menu. The scanner started making noises like
it was calibratin' and the prompt said "Calibrating Dual II" ... after a
long period, the scanner green light was *off* and my monitor was frozen.
I tried the same thing all over and got the same results.

Using IMAC with USB connection. Only other peripheral(1280 printer) off
during calibration try.

Any suggestions appreciated,

Lincoln

I have same result with same scanner with Windows XP system. Has been
that way as long as I've had a Vuescan license, 18 mo.~ Basically
locks up royally!
