Can't Create VueScan RAW Files

I have an Epson 2400 Scanner and I purchased Vuescan approximately 8
months ago. I like the program but there is NOT an option to create a
RAW output file on the Output tab. I have the jpeg and tif output file
options but nothing shows up for the raw file. Is there something I'm
missing here?? There is a checkbox for Scanning from RAW files in the
Prefs tab but that seems to make little difference.

Anybody out there have the same problem?

Which version did you buy? Only the Professional edition has Raw output
capability.

You need to have Vuescan Professional to create raw files and use ICC
profiling. The basic version does not have these functions.

Thanks for the info...Would you know off hand if I can purchase an
upgrade to the pro version or do I have to purchase the full price pro
version?

Serves me right for being cheap...the diff appears to be only 20 bucks
