Epson Stylus CX6400 scanning speed

I just picked up an Epson CX6400 all in one to replace a 2450 scanner
and C82 printer and it's supposed to be hi-speed USB 2.0 capable, but
i'll be danged if it doesn't appear to scan way slower than my Epson
2450 I was getting ready to take to work.

Anybody care to chime in on the true scan speed of the CX6400 or am I
just spoiled having had the 2450 for a few years......???
