Default network scanner vs. network software


Any idea about the difference between using the remotescan software
(http://www.remote-scan.com ) vs. using a network scanner? The cost
difference, of course, is abvious, but are there things about the
hardware solution that I should know about?

It works well. I just downloaded and tested and then bought. Now the
family is all able to scan from my scanner without me having to stop
using my computer.

It doesnt work for Macs, but most users are windows these days.

I found a few different prices -- seems they are doing some bundle deal
with a big company -- but you can still buy direct from this site:
